Hardin County deserves a commissioner who is clear about where he stands. Here is where I stand.

The issues

Understanding local property taxes can be complex, especially with unvoted inside millage (as per the Ohio constitution) rising alongside property values. While state law and property reappraisals set those baseline rates, my focus as commissioner will be on smart fiscal management. Thanks to the foresight of past commissioners, our county buildings and infrastructure are in strong shape today. I am committed to protecting that legacy by managing your tax dollars efficiently and keeping county budgets tight.

TAXPAYER RESPECT &
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

We live in an information age where data is everywhere and trust is hard to earn. Elected officials have a responsibility to communicate clearly, answer tough questions directly, and listen — genuinely listen — to the people they serve. As commissioner I will hold myself to that standard every single day.

GOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY

Change is coming at the state level and it will affect how Hardin County is funded. New legislators will bring new priorities, and some of those changes — particularly around inside millage and how local entities are funded — will require careful, open conversation at the community level. I am committed to staying informed, communicating those changes clearly to residents, and making sure Hardin County's voice is heard in Columbus.

LOCAL FUNDING & STATE LEGISLATION

I believe the best ideas come from listening. I'm currently out in the community talking with neighbors, attending meetings, and hearing what matters most to Hardin County residents.
